Looking Beyond October 2026

550 Books Published. The Next Chapter Is Just Beginning.

New books, new ideas, educational resources, creative worlds, and opportunities to help others are all part of the continuing journey.

What Comes After 550 Books?

The answer is not simply another number.

Reaching 550 published books in October 2026 was a meaningful milestone for independent author Bruce Goldwell.

But publishing has never been only about adding titles to a catalog. It is about exploring ideas, sharing knowledge, telling stories, and creating resources that readers may find useful.

At age 75, Bruce continues developing new concepts and exploring subjects that interest him.

Some ideas will become books. Others may develop into websites, learning centers, interactive tools, or entirely different projects.

The following projects represent current areas of interest and possibilities for the future. They are not guaranteed releases or announcements of publication dates.

A Personal Project: Surviving a Heart Attack

In October 2026, Bruce suffered a heart attack and underwent quadruple coronary bypass surgery.

The experience was serious and life-changing. Yet even while awaiting surgery, he was already considering how his experience might help someone else.

One proposed book would bring together two perspectives: the firsthand experience of surviving a heart attack and a carefully researched guide to understanding heart health and prevention.

The personal account would describe the warning signs, emergency treatment, hospital transfers, surgery, and recovery from a patient's perspective.

The educational portion would draw on credible medical sources and appropriate professional review, with the goal of helping readers better understand heart health.

"I don't have time for dying. I'm on a mission from God."

Those words, shared with his daughter during the experience, reflect Bruce's continuing sense of purpose.

Recovery and medical guidance remain priorities. Any future book will be developed at a pace consistent with his recovery.

Beyond Books: Building Useful Resources

Some ideas are more useful when they become interactive experiences.

A book can introduce an idea, but a website, calculator, learning center, or interactive tool can help readers put that idea into practice.

Bruce has been developing connected resources that extend beyond individual publications, including educational websites, author tools, and the Senior Vet Discounts initiative.

Future development may focus on improving these resources, adding useful features, and making information easier to find and apply.

The Goal Isn't Just Another Book. It's Another Opportunity to Help.

The journey from difficult personal circumstances to hundreds of published books has reinforced Bruce's belief that life can continue offering new possibilities.

October's heart attack and open-heart surgery added an unexpected chapter to that story.

But the larger mission remains the same: continue learning, continue creating, and continue sharing ideas that may make a difference.

At 75, Bruce Goldwell is looking forward to what comes next.
