The Journey Continues

Publishing Milestones:
550 Books and Still Writing

A journey shaped by experience, persistence, lifelong learning, and a determination to turn ideas into books that inform, inspire, and entertain.

Every Milestone Has a Story

Behind every published title is a reason to keep going.

For independent author Bruce Goldwell, publishing has never been limited to one genre or subject. His books reflect a lifetime of experiences, interests, discoveries, and the belief that knowledge is worth sharing.

From technology and practical living to science fiction, spirituality, personal development, and educational guides, his catalog has continued expanding over the years.

By October 2026, that journey had reached 550 published books. Yet some of the most meaningful milestones cannot be measured by a book count.

The Road to 550 Books

Selected milestones from a continuing creative journey.

The Early Years

A Foundation of Many Experiences

Bruce's background includes military service in the U.S. Army, architectural drafting, carpentry, computer operations, teaching, and entrepreneurship.

These varied experiences helped shape the broad curiosity and practical perspective that would later influence his books.

A Turning Point

Finding Purpose Through Adversity

After experiencing years of homelessness, Bruce made a personal commitment to helping others. That determination became an important part of his approach to writing, teaching, and creating.

The journey was not simply about rebuilding his own life, but about finding ways to make his experiences useful to someone else.

The Publishing Years

Building an Independent Catalog

Rather than limiting himself to one subject, Bruce developed books across multiple genres, including science fiction, technology, wellness, personal development, spirituality, travel, and practical guides.

Each new title became another opportunity to explore an idea and connect with readers.

2026

Expanding the Smart Senior Collection

Bruce continued developing books aimed at helping older adults navigate everyday challenges, including travel, benefits, scams, artificial intelligence, and living on a fixed income.

The collection reflects his interest in practical solutions that readers can apply in their own lives.

2026

Exploring the Age of Super Intelligence

Books such as SI - Super Intelligence and Polymath explored how people can use emerging technology to expand their knowledge, creativity, and capabilities.

Bruce also developed supporting educational websites and resources to extend learning beyond the books.

October 2026

A Life-Changing Health Challenge

In October, Bruce suffered a heart attack and underwent open-heart surgery, receiving a quadruple coronary bypass.

While hospitalized, he began thinking about how the experience might help others and proposed writing a book about surviving a heart attack and understanding prevention.

His recovery became another chapter in his personal journey—and another reason to appreciate the opportunity to continue his work.

October 2026

550 Published Books

Despite a demanding and unexpected month, Bruce's publishing catalog reached 550 titles.

The milestone represented years of creative effort, experimentation, learning, and persistence.

November 2026 and Beyond

The Next Chapter Is Still Being Written

New books, educational resources, publishing projects, and creative ideas remain part of the journey.

The goal is not simply to increase the number of titles, but to continue creating work that readers can learn from, enjoy, and share.

A Life-Changing October: Heart Surgery and a Mission That Continues

In October 2026, Bruce Goldwell faced one of the most serious challenges of his life. Following a heart attack, he underwent quadruple bypass surgery.

Even while preparing for surgery, his thoughts turned toward how the experience might help someone else. He began considering a book that would share his firsthand account of surviving a heart attack, followed by researched information about prevention and heart health.

During his hospitalization and recovery, Bruce also began documenting his experiences through conversations and voice transcription, preserving details while they were still fresh.

"I don't have time for dying. I'm on a mission from God."

Those were words Bruce shared with his daughter during the experience. They reflect the sense of purpose that has guided much of his life.

The experience reinforced a principle that runs throughout his publishing journey: life can change unexpectedly, but the desire to learn, create, and help others can continue.
