JumpHub Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 18, 2026
JumpHub is designed to provide a simple, convenient way to reach websites you use online while allowing you to personalize the page without creating a JumpHub account.
The short version: Personal links and favorites you add to JumpHub are stored locally in your web browser using browser storage. They are not submitted to JumpHub simply because you add or favorite a link.
1. Personal Links and Favorites
JumpHub allows you to add your own personal website links and save websites from the JumpHub directory as favorites.
The current version of JumpHub stores this information using local browser storage, commonly known as localStorage.
This allows your browser to remember your customized JumpHub setup when you return to the page using the same browser and device.
2. Your Personal Links Stay in Your Browser
When you use JumpHub's Add My Link feature, the link name and website address you enter are saved locally by your browser.
JumpHub does not require you to create an account, provide an email address or send us a list of your personal links in order to use this feature.
Please remember: Although JumpHub stores these links locally, avoid using link names that contain passwords, account numbers, Social Security numbers, medical information or other sensitive personal information.
3. What Happens If You Change Devices?
Personal links and favorites stored in one browser generally do not automatically transfer to another browser, phone, tablet or computer.
For example, links saved using one browser on your phone may not appear when you open JumpHub on your desktop computer.
4. Clearing Browser Data
Your browser controls its local storage.
If you clear browser data, website data, cookies or local storage, your saved JumpHub personal links and favorites may be deleted from that browser.
JumpHub may not be able to restore locally stored information after it has been removed from your browser.
5. Third-Party Websites
JumpHub contains links to third-party websites and online services.
When you select one of these links, you leave JumpHub and visit a website operated by another company or organization.
Those websites have their own privacy policies, terms, cookies, tracking technologies and data practices. JumpHub does not control the privacy practices of third-party websites.
We encourage users to review the privacy policies of websites they visit when privacy practices are important to them.
6. Affiliate Links
Some links on JumpHub are affiliate links.
When you select an affiliate link, the destination website or affiliate network may use cookies, tracking identifiers or similar technologies to determine that your visit originated from JumpHub.
If you make a qualifying purchase or complete an eligible transaction after following one of these links, JumpHub may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.
Affiliate tracking is operated by the applicable merchant, affiliate network or service provider and is subject to that organization's privacy practices.
7. Amazon Associates
JumpHub participates in the Amazon Associates program.
As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Amazon links on JumpHub may contain affiliate identifiers that allow Amazon to recognize qualifying referrals from JumpHub.
8. Search
JumpHub provides a web search feature for convenience.
When you submit a search, your search request is sent to the search provider used by the JumpHub search form. Your search is then subject to that provider's privacy policy and terms.
9. Server and Hosting Information
Like most websites, the web server or hosting provider used to deliver JumpHub may automatically process standard technical information when a visitor requests a webpage.
Depending on the hosting configuration, this information may include items such as an IP address, browser type, device information, requested page, date and time of the request, referring page and technical error information.
Such technical information may be used for website operation, security, troubleshooting and traffic analysis.
10. Cookies
JumpHub itself does not need to place an account cookie simply to save your personal links because the current personalization system uses local browser storage.
However, third-party websites, affiliate services and other destinations reached through JumpHub may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies.
11. Information You Choose to Enter
You control the names and website addresses you add to My Personal Links.
JumpHub is intended for saving convenient website shortcuts, not confidential information.
Do not enter passwords, financial account numbers, government identification numbers or other confidential information as the name or address of a personal link.
12. Security
No website, browser or Internet transmission can guarantee absolute security.
Users should follow normal online safety practices, including keeping their devices and browsers updated, protecting access to their devices and carefully reviewing websites before entering sensitive information.
13. Children
JumpHub is a general-purpose Internet navigation tool and is not specifically designed or directed toward children.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
JumpHub may update this Privacy Policy as the service develops, features change or privacy practices are modified.
The date near the top of this page indicates when this policy was last updated.
