How to Use JumpHub
JumpHub is designed to be simple. Use it as a starting point for the Internet: search the web, open popular websites, save favorites or add your own personal links.
Start here: Visit JumpHub, choose where you want to go, and click. That's it.
1. Search the Web
The search box near the top of JumpHub lets you search the Internet whenever the website or information you need isn't already listed.
- Tap or click the search box.
- Type what you're looking for.
- Select Search.
- Your search results will open for you.
2. Add Your Own Personal Links
JumpHub lets you add websites that are important specifically to you. These can be websites that aren't part of the standard JumpHub directory.
For example, you might add your bank, credit union, doctor's patient portal, local library, community association, favorite restaurant, work website or another page you visit regularly.
- Select + Add My Link.
- Enter a name for the website, such as "My Bank."
- Enter the website address.
- Select Save Link.
- The website will appear under My Personal Links.
3. Save a Website as a Favorite
Websites already included in the JumpHub A-Z directory have a star beside them.
Tap or click the ☆ beside a website you use frequently. The star changes to ★ and that website is added to My Personal Links near the top of JumpHub.
Select the star again if you want to remove that website from your favorites.
4. Use Quick Links
The Quick Links section gives you fast access to selected shopping, travel, entertainment and other useful online destinations.
Instead of scrolling through the entire A-Z directory, simply select one of the Quick Links and jump directly to that destination.
5. Shop Amazon by Department
JumpHub's Amazon Quick Link includes a department menu so you can jump closer to the part of Amazon you want to visit.
Select Amazon ▼ to see available choices such as Books, Electronics, Home & Kitchen, Grocery, Gift Cards, Best Sellers, Sports & Outdoors and other Amazon departments.
Select the department you want and JumpHub will take you there.
6. Browse Websites A-Z
The main JumpHub directory organizes popular websites alphabetically.
The alphabet bar lets you jump directly to a letter instead of scrolling through the entire directory.
For example, select Y to jump to YouTube, F for Facebook or G for Google and Gmail.
7. Remove a Personal Link
Personal links you add yourself can be removed whenever you no longer need them.
Select the × beside the personal link and confirm that you want to remove it.
8. How JumpHub Remembers Your Links
JumpHub uses your web browser's local storage to remember the personal links and favorites you save.
This means you don't have to create a JumpHub username, password or account simply to personalize the page.
Important: Your personalized JumpHub setup is associated with the browser and device where you saved it.
If you use a different browser or another device, your personalized links may not automatically appear there. Clearing your browser's website data may also remove your saved JumpHub information.
9. Bookmark JumpHub
One of the easiest ways to use JumpHub regularly is to save it as a browser bookmark or favorite.
Once bookmarked, JumpHub can become your convenient starting point whenever you want to visit your favorite places online.
10. Use JumpHub on Your Phone
JumpHub is designed to work on smartphones as well as tablets, laptops and desktop computers.
Many mobile browsers also provide an option to add a website to your phone's Home Screen. When supported by your browser, you can use this feature to create a JumpHub shortcut that behaves much like an app icon.

Is JumpHub free?
Yes. JumpHub is free to use.
Do I need a JumpHub account?
No. An account is not required to use JumpHub or save personal links and favorites using the browser-based personalization features.
Can I add websites that aren't listed?
Yes. Select + Add My Link and enter the website you want to save.
Can I save my favorite JumpHub websites?
Yes. Select the star beside a website in the A-Z directory. Favorite websites appear near the top of the page under My Personal Links.
Where are my personal links stored?
JumpHub stores your personal links and favorites locally in your browser on the device you're using.
Will my links appear on another phone or computer?
Not automatically. The current version of JumpHub stores personalization locally, so links saved in one browser generally won't automatically appear in another browser or on another device.
What happens if I clear my browser data?
Clearing website data or browser storage may remove personal links and favorites that JumpHub has saved in that browser.
Does JumpHub contain affiliate links?
Yes. Some shopping and service links may be affiliate links. JumpHub may earn a commission from qualifying purchases or eligible transactions at no additional cost to you.
