Bruce Goldwell's publishing career began with a simple challenge from a 98-year-old mentor and eventually grew into one of the largest independently created collections of books, educational programs, and knowledge resources.
While struggling through years of homelessness, Bruce met a remarkable man named Dell Grant, who was 98 years old.
During one conversation Dell said something Bruce never forgot.
"Write books."
Bruce's response was immediate.
"I'm homeless. What could I possibly teach?"
Dell simply smiled and replied,
"You know things other people don't."
At the time Bruce didn't fully understand what Dell meant. Years later those words would become the foundation of an entirely new life.
One day, after years of discouragement, Bruce reached a breaking point. He prayed a short prayer asking God for help. Moments later he noticed a large discarded cardboard box. Instead of seeing trash, he saw opportunity.
He transformed it into what became known as the World's Largest Tip Box. Standing beside the oversized box, Bruce entertained visitors by telling jokes, singing songs he had written, and encouraging people who were struggling with fear and discouragement.
That experience taught him something powerful. Helping people didn't require wealth. It required willingness.
In 2006 Bruce watched the movie The Secret. Rather than discovering entirely new ideas, he recognized many of the same success principles he had already been studying through authors such as Napoleon Hill and Wallace D. Wattles.
It inspired him to finally begin writing. One manuscript became another. Then another. Eventually the books formed complete series covering personal development, publishing, entrepreneurship, fantasy fiction, leadership, cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence, and educational systems.
Dell Grant encouraged Bruce to begin writing books.
Watching The Secret strengthened Bruce's belief that thoughts, purpose, and action could change lives.
