About the Author
Author. Storyteller. Songwriter. Veteran. Lifelong explorer of ideas.
A Writer Across Many Worlds
Bruce Goldwell has spent years writing across genres, exploring subjects that range from mystery and suspense to personal growth, technology, social change, and the future.
His work reflects a lifelong curiosity about people: what motivates them, what they believe, what they fear, and what happens when ordinary lives collide with extraordinary circumstances.
In The Meridian Six, that curiosity moves into psychological suspense.
Six people are brought together by a dead man's will. Each carries a different version of the past. Each has something to hide. And before the end, one of them will be gone.
More Than One Path
Bruce Goldwell's background has never followed a single straight line.
Bruce served in the United States Army and is a Vietnam veteran.
That experience became one part of a life shaped by resilience, responsibility, and a strong desire to help others find their own path forward.
His creative work includes novels, nonfiction books, personal development titles, songs, videos, and educational projects.
Storytelling remains the thread connecting them all.
Over the years, Bruce has worked in areas including programming, drafting, construction, entrepreneurship, publishing, and creative production.
That broad range of experience often becomes raw material for new ideas.
The Writing Journey
Bruce's path to becoming an author was not conventional.
At one point in his life, he experienced homelessness in California.
Rather than allowing that chapter to define the rest of his life, he began rebuilding, exploring personal development, entrepreneurship, and eventually writing.
His first published work opened the door to what became a long-running independent publishing career.
Why The Meridian Six?
The most interesting mysteries are not always built around a single villain and a single victim.
Sometimes everyone is carrying a piece.
Everyone remembers differently.
Everyone has reasons to stay silent.
And sometimes the truth only appears when all the pieces are finally forced into the same room.
Storytelling Approach
Rather than relying on one obvious hero and one obvious villain, The Meridian Six builds tension through relationships among six people who all matter.
The story is designed so one revelation changes the meaning of another. Old loyalties can look like guilt, and guilt can look like loyalty.
The first book does not simply ask what happened twenty years ago.
It creates a second mystery that begins when the first story ends.
Beyond Mystery
Bruce Goldwell's books span a wide range of topics and genres.
His nonfiction work explores personal development, future trends, technology, financial change, senior living, travel, American culture, and other subjects.
His fiction explores imagination, suspense, mystery, adventure, and the darker questions surrounding human behavior.
The subject may change.
The curiosity behind the writing does not.
Fiction and nonfiction.
Music and creative production.
Building books, websites, videos, and reader resources around each project.
For the Reader
Who was telling the truth?
Which clues mattered?
Which character did you trust too much?
Which character did you judge too quickly?
