Two Books. One Powerful Idea.

A human Superconductor does more than achieve. A Superconductor helps knowledge, opportunity, encouragement and possibility reach other people.

The Superconductors by Bruce Goldwell

The Superconductors

The People Who Changed the Way Millions Think About Success, Wealth, Leadership, and Life

The original book explores remarkable individuals whose ideas and influence helped millions of people reconsider success, achievement, leadership, prosperity and human potential.

These are people whose influence did not stop with their own achievements. Their ideas traveled through books, stages, businesses, conversations and the people they inspired.

The Superconductors II

The People Who Powered CEO Space and Changed Lives Through Connection, Leadership, and Possibility

Book II enters The Space — the entrepreneurial environment created by Berny Dohrmann where ideas, mentorship, introductions, relationships and opportunities could move from person to person.

Bruce Goldwell experienced that environment firsthand. This book preserves some of the people, principles and lessons that made CEO Space an extraordinary chapter in entrepreneurial history.

The Central Idea

What Is a Human Superconductor?

In physics, a superconductor allows electrical current to move with extraordinarily little resistance.

Bruce Goldwell uses the word differently when describing people.

A human Superconductor is someone who helps valuable things move.

Knowledge What they know becomes useful to someone else.
Encouragement They help people see possibilities beyond present circumstances.
Relationships They recognize people who should know one another.
Opportunity They open doors instead of guarding them.
Leadership They help other people become stronger.
Possibility They help dreams move closer to reality.
Your network is not measured by how many people you know. Its real value is measured by how much possibility moves through it.

The Man Behind The Space

Berny Dohrmann

Berny Dohrmann created more than an entrepreneurial organization.

He created a Space.

CEO Space brought entrepreneurs, educators, speakers, mentors, business leaders and people with dreams into an environment built around learning, contribution, cooperation and connection.

Berny's philosophy challenged the idea that business always had to be driven by destructive competition. Instead, entrepreneurs could help one another move forward.

For Bruce Goldwell, meeting Berny came during one of the most difficult periods of his life — and the lessons learned in The Space never left him.

Carrying the Legacy Forward

September Dohrmann

September Dohrmann became an important part of the continuing CEO Space story, carrying forward the principles and entrepreneurial culture associated with Berny's vision.

From inside The Space, she witnessed entrepreneurs meet, relationships form, ideas develop and people discover resources and possibilities they might never have found alone.

In The Superconductors II, September represents something larger than organizational leadership: the continuation of a legacy through the people who understand why its principles mattered.

Les Brown
The Voice of Possibility

Les Brown

Few speakers have communicated the power of human possibility as memorably as Les Brown.

His message of greatness, resilience, belief and personal responsibility represents one of the most important forms of Superconductivity:

Helping another person reconnect with what they believe is possible for their own life.

Sometimes people do not need another strategy. They need someone who reminds them that they have not reached the end of what they can become.

Sometimes the greatest connection you can give someone is reconnecting them with their own possibility.

From My Time in The Space

Bruce Goldwell

When Bruce Goldwell first met Berny Dohrmann, his life looked very different from the life he lives today.

Bruce was homeless.

Yet inside CEO Space, he was not treated as the homeless man in the room. He was accepted as someone who had a dream and something to contribute.

Bruce discovered that even without money or status, he could listen. He could encourage. He could recognize people with common interests and introduce them.

That lesson stayed with him.

Years later, books became another way of conducting ideas, knowledge and encouragement to people he might never personally meet.

Helping other people keep their dreams alive helped Bruce keep his own dream alive.

A Central Idea From Book II

Connection Capital

Money is not the only form of capital we accumulate. Relationships can create another kind of value.

Connection Capital is the accumulated value created when people trust you to connect them with other people, knowledge, resources and opportunities.

One introduction may connect an entrepreneur with an investor.

Another may connect an author with a publisher.

Someone may meet a mentor, client, partner, employee, speaker or lifelong friend because another person simply said:

"You two should meet."

The person making the introduction may receive nothing directly. Yet something valuable has been created.

The Superconductor Challenge

Keep the Current Moving

You do not need wealth, fame or a title to become a Superconductor.

Make an introduction. Share something useful. Encourage someone who is struggling. Recommend a person publicly. Open a door. Help someone take another step toward a dream.

Then ask yourself:

What happened because I became the conductor instead of waiting to receive?

Take the 30-Day Challenge Seven Traits of a Superconductor
The measure of a Superconductor is not how much success stops with them. It is how much possibility passes through them on its way to someone else.
